Blog - Vancouver - Old Faithful
Classic handmade products made to last. A 'Labour and Wait' style of shop, we loved everything here.

    Here's their website, have a look: http://www.oldfaithfulshop.com/

Blog - Vancouver - Caffe Brixton
Lovely little cafe near China Town in Vancouver with a minimalist decor and yet a cosy feel. Good coffee plus a print out of a crossword. No better way to rest a bit after a long walk.

Blog - Vancouver - Gyoza King
Gyoza King in downtown Vancouver. From the moment we crossed the door it took us back to Japan. Everything we tried was delicious and the service Japanese-friendly. They also brew their own beer, worth the visit just to try it. And to top it all off, Yoda offers you a mint on your way out.

Blog - Vancouver - Northwest Coast Native Art
Bold lines, interesting shapes and bright colours give the west coast of Canada a strong cultural identity. The way they tell a story in such a beautiful and graphic way inspired us.

              Blog - ecotricity
We've just switched electricity companies to Ecotricity. They are a tiny bit more expensive (they price-match the big supplier's standard tariffs) but they supply as much 'green' energy as possible and invest their profits into building more renewable energy sources. We can all make a little difference! http://www.ecotricity.co.uk/

                Blog - Barcelona discoveries
Two great discoveries in the same street (Calle Princesa) in Barcelona. Komomoto is a Japanese-Peruvian fusion restaurant with amazing food and cool interior. http://www.grupotragaluz.com/rest-komomoto.php

BarcelonaReykjavik is an organic bakery with a sustainable ethos, plus their bread and cakes are delicious. Totally worth the extra kilos! http://www.barcelonareykjavik.com/

                    Blog - Rainbow Warrior
We just donated to help Greenpeace build the new Rainbow Warrior. A fantastic website lets you choose what bits of the boat you'd like to fund. We went for a few mechanical bits and pieces, plus of course some bright orange paint! http://anewwarrior.greenpeace.org/
